United Arab Emirates Delegation Visits - May 30th at Sungevity in Oakland
In conjunction with the Governor's Office of Business & Economic Development ("GO-Biz"), the Green Corridor held an event on May 30th introducing United Arab Emirates' Embassy Trade representatives to cleantech startup entrepreneurs for possible investment opportunities.

Green Corridor- Siemens Industry Event- April 19th at Siemens' Energy and Environmental Solutions, Building Technologies Division in Hayward
Siemens Industry- one of the largest energy companies in the world- hosted a group of the Green Corridor's entrepreneurs, scientists, and local government, academic and industry representatives where Siemens presented business opportunities for innovations in energy saving technology; and cleantech startup entrepreneurs pitched their technologies.

Governor's Office Town Hall- Feb. 14th, Makani Power/Natel Energy, Alameda
On a sparkling Valentine's Day, the Green Corridor held a Governor's Office of Business & Economic Development Town Hall Forum entitled, Can the State Help Grow Your Cleantech Business? It was attended by over 60 people and included a diverse crowd from industry, local and state government, Berkeley Lab, entrepreneurs and Venture Capitalists. Mayor Marie Gilmore gave the welcome.

Green Corridor Solar Symposium- Feb. 6th, Ed Roberts Campus, Berkeley

The Green Corridor held a Solar Symposium with the theme of "Innovation" in permitting, utility interconnection, software, PACE commercial financing, and performance validation. A diverse group of about 50 attended, including Berkeley Lab and Sandia scientists, solar company CEOs, Chief Building Officials and permitting staff, professional engineers and Oakland City Council staff.
